Welcome to FBC Canton Children’s Ministry!
The children’s ministry at First Baptist is designed for 1st-6th grade. We believe in encouraging the kids to grow spiritually, physically, and mentally as the Bible described Jesus doing in Luke 2:52. We believe this ministry is so important because we are instilling in the kids the foundation upon which they will build the rest of their lives. We believe that family is of great necessity and we are here to help. Therefore, we emphasize communicating with parents of the children, as well as the church family. The children’s ministry is not a separate entity but instead an integral part of the whole church congregation.
What To Expect
A typical week at the church during the school year consists of three events.
Sunday mornings include both Kid Zone during the service and Sunday school beforehand.
Sunday evenings begin with children’s choir at 6pm followed by a Bible Study going through the Gospel of John ending at 7.
Wednesday nights are game nights. Dinner ($5) is at 5pm while the games run from 6-7.
