What is our approach?
Our Sr. Adult program here at First Baptist Church Canton includes Sunday School, Bible Studies, Day trips, Mystery trips, Fall and Spring Trips and care for the homebound. We intentionally focus on spiritual growth, fellowship, service and want to bring excitement to share God’s word in all aspects of the journey we are on at this point in our lives.
Key areas of our approach are:
Monthly lunches, games, and trips to provide activities to get out and spend time connecting with others. Sunday morning Bible studies, retreats and prayer groups help provide spiritual growth and discipleship. We encourage seniors to use their time, talent, and experience for hands on ministry volunteering, mentoring, and serving in the church and community. We have teams that care for the homebound members with visitation, prayer and letting them know they are loved. We enjoy praying for and interacting with the younger generations.
